

Drugs/Alcohol: Students will participate in five hours of drug abuse intervention and training in a small group setting. Typically facilitated on school campuses, but can also be scheduled at Prodigals on-site as needed.
Topic 1: General Drug Awareness, Effects, and Reducing Harm
Topic 2: Drugs and the Youth Brain, Media Literacy
Topic 3: Student-Specific Substance Education (primarily Nicotine, Cannabis, and Alcohol)
Topic 4: Identifying Triggers, Stress, Coping-skills, and Wellness
Tobacco/Vaping Nicotine: Students will participate in two hours of tobacco and vaping intervention and training in a small group setting. This program is available on an as-needed basis.
Topic 1: Effects of Nicotine and Vaping on the Brain and Body
Topic 2: Identifying Triggers, Stress, Coping-skills, and Wellness
The TIP program focuses on helping students to recognize the effects choices have on their lives and futures, as well as discovering the tools to make a positive change.
