EAP is a work-based intervention program designed to identify and assist employees with substance use that may adversely affect work performance and seek to resolve challenges such as marital and family struggles, financial issues, or emotional concerns.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employer-sponsored program designed to support employees and their work year-round.
Job performance is one of the many areas affected by drugs and alcohol. If an employee is struggling with drug or alcohol use, PSD provides the resources and accountability necessary to help employees get back on track.
This program includes the support of Substance Abuse (SUD) counselors, trained employee mentors, and marriage, grief, and trauma counselors.
Session 1: Individual Evaluation and Assessment (2 hours)
Sessions 2-3: Education on Addiction and Substance Abuse Effects
Session 4-6: Counseling based on individual needs (substance abuse, marriage, finances, trauma, etc.)
Session 7: Recovery Group Attendance
Session 8: Follow-Up (after 2 weeks)
Prodigal Sons & Daughter's Employee Assistance Program meets the requirements for California Labor Code Section 1025-1028.
Prodigal Sons & Daughters is able to accommodate session times and locations to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.
Programs can be personalized and altered to meet employer and employee needs. The cost to the employer varies by program needs and design.
