Family Support Addiction is a disease that impacts the entire family system. It is important that family members have opportunity to gain knowledge about the disease and to receive support for their own recovery process. The Family Support Program is designed for family members who have been emotionally impacted by the disease of addiction. This program provides education and skills to assist all family members in creating healthier family dynamics. Some of the group sessions include such topics as: Letting Go, Enabling, Setting Boundaries, Communication Skills, and Relapse. The three "C's" of recovery apply not only to the person who is addicted, but also to his or her family members as well. The Three "C's" are:
