Family Support

Addiction is a disease that impacts the entire family system.  It is important that family members
have opportunity to gain knowledge about the disease and to receive support for their own
recovery process. The Family Support Program is designed for family members who have
been emotionally impacted by the disease of addiction. This program provides education and skills
to assist all family members in creating healthier family dynamics.  Some of the group sessions
include such topics as:  Letting Go, Enabling, Setting Boundaries, Communication Skills, and
Relapse.

The three "C's" of recovery apply not only to the person who is addicted, but also to his or her
family members as well. The Three "C's" are:

  • You did not Cause it
  • Your cannot Control it
  • You cannot Cure it
